Coach Lu was born in Italy and has been playing soccer since the age of six. He is currently playing in the men’s over 40 league. Coach Lu is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. He has a National D coaching license, an Advanced National Diploma and 32 years of coaching experience. Lu has coached every age group, boys and girls, ages 6 to adult. He was also the head coach of Team USA U18 Boys from 1988-1990. Coach Lu’s motto is “FOR THE GOOD OF THE GAME." As a coach, he strives to make a difference, one player, one team, and one day at a time. He encourages his players to be the best that they can be through enjoyable, stimulating and challenging practices where the players themselves can find solutions to the demands of the game. This will be Coach Lu’s 2nd year with the Royal Palm Beach Strikers.
